Michael J Kettering ("we", "us") operates the T-Break Squirrel mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The App has no accounts and no sign-in, and we operate no server for it. Everything you enter — your break start date, goal length, prior usage and weekly spend, daily check-ins (mood, mental clarity, sleep) and any notes you add, cravings you log and how you rode them out, time-fillers you complete and save, and your reward goals — is written only to storage on your own device. It is never uploaded to us, we never receive it, and we hold no copy of it. The App works fully in Airplane Mode.
Because none of it reaches us, we cannot read, share, or sell it, and there is nothing on our side for us to lose.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or media files, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use any third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking SDKs. We do not use any analytics, attribution, or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
If you turn on reminders, the App schedules them as local notifications on your device from the reminder settings you choose (such as lead times, reminder time, and quiet hours). These notifications are generated on your device from data already stored on it — we do not operate a push-notification server, and your reminder content is not transmitted to us in order to deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Your content never leaves your device, so we do not use it for anything at all. We use the email address you write to us from only to answer your support request.
Your content is stored only in the App's own storage on your device, protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and iOS app sandboxing). It is not transmitted anywhere, so there is no cloud database and no server-side copy. The one exception is purchases: if you buy a subscription, that transaction is handled by Apple, and we use RevenueCat to confirm whether a purchase is active so the App can unlock the paid features. RevenueCat receives only purchase information and an anonymous identifier for the installation — never your name, your email, or anything you have written in the App. We do not sell your personal information.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your content stays on your device wherever you are. Purchase verification by Apple and RevenueCat may be processed on servers in the United States or other countries, under those providers' own terms.
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your content stays on your device for as long as you keep it: you can erase all of it at any time from within the App, and deleting the App removes it too. Once erased it is gone — there is no server copy to restore it from.
Records of purchases are kept by Apple, and subscription status by RevenueCat, under their own policies, because they are needed for billing, entitlement, and tax purposes. Erasing your data or deleting the App does not delete those records, and it does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in your Apple ID settings.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Everything is in your hands already: you can view, change, or erase your content at any time using the in-app controls. There is no account to close and no request to send us — but if you have a question about this policy, email electricsquirrelapps@gmail.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. Because your content never reaches us, the in-app controls above cover almost all of this; for anything else, including purchase records, email electricsquirrelapps@gmail.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
These Privacy, Terms, and Support pages are static: they set no cookies and load no analytics, advertising, or third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve the pages securely and diagnose faults. If you email us, we keep your message and address only to reply and help you.
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
